    • Testing Required Description:
Can persist data into MongoDb with the date type brought forward - stored in MongoDb as ISODate("2013-10-01T00:00:00.000Z") as example and not an long or a string "2013-10-01T00:00:00.000Z"

      Description

MongoDB has a type Date (underlying Int64 but has an ISODate() wrapper to represent the date) - when a record in StreamSets is in a valid Date or DateTime type, it should keep that type and persist this to MongoDB as follows - ISODate("2013-10-01T00:00:00.000Z").

An option as to the store in MongoDB using the records type or to store as an epoch - as not to impact customers - flag to persist it into Date type in MongoDB within advances section or somewhere.
